A little fun from a church member, this story was told to me:
Do you know that Las Vegas has more Catholic Churches than Casinos? It is true, and as a result of the little cottage industry in Las Vegas, tithes are mostly paid in chips to the church. The only truly trustworthy people the bishop could find to count all these chip donations for all the churches, is the Franciscans in this little monastery just outside of Las Vegas.
The Monks there count and seperate all the chips to take them into the casinos to cash in for the money for the churches. These fine men in this ministry are known as:
The Chip Monks.
