Prayer for Canadian Troops
It was amazing to watch our peace keepers in Kandahar playing with the kids, and joking around with the adults as they made their sweeps to root out the Taliban. Rebuild the hospitals, wells, and schools needed to restart the infrastructure of the country.It is a time of stress for friends and families of Canadian Soldiers left behind in Canada as they are on alert for ship out.It is also a time of ultimate stress for the families and loved ones left behind on the soldiers, relief workers and RCMP officers already shipped out.Please hold all these people and Afghanistan up in prayer, 20 years for a new world, 20 years is a long time, but remember, this is what Canada does...We bring peace and hope to the hurting in the world, and if we didn't the world would be a darker place.So please pray for those risking their all on the front lines, as one soldier put it, what is your fear in the field. "Getting shot and missing Mother's Day for my mum."
