Help End Child Poverty in Canada. In 1989 the then Mulroney Progressive Conservative Government voted in favour of a bill pledging to eliminate child poverty in Canada by the year 2000 it is now 2005 and nothing has changed, in fact the situation has gotten drastically worse.

Canada is in a minority parliament that has already seen amazing and history making things happen as the voice of corporations has been sidelined, and the voice of average Canadians is coming to the surface. Please write and put pressure on the government to end Child Poverty as was promised almost 17 years ago.
